Haven't they heard, "Charity begins at home"? With Americans on waiting lists for ADAP, on waiting lists for subsidized housing, and some not having access to adequate care, how dare they send money abroad? Take care of our brothers and sisters here in America first, then when that goal is achieved, send funds abroad. In what has been tauted as the richest country in the world it is appalling that our own citizens cannot get access to quality medical care and life saving medications.
