As a resident of TN,I'm ashamed that some backwoods county is now banning books. As a former attorney,I am convinced this is a clear cut violation of the first amemndment. I am offended by the "Christian " books in libraries . Under the logic( or illogic) of this county ,if I lodge a complaint can I get all the "Christian " books banned ???
This book is the most incredible piece of literature I ever read. It helped me through the agonizing death of my own lover. I purchased it while in P'Town, started it on the beach, and could not put it down. Real love. I regret that I didn't attend a book signing and get to meet Paul Monette. A brilliant writer. It's Tennessee...what do you want? No, really, you're kids aren't humping each other at the community pool, at the mall, in a car... Heads in the sand!
What ever happened to seperation of church and state and Freedom of speech.
How unfortunate......
I have read most of his books, but did not know of this particular book... To all those out there clamoring to dismantle ADAP's across the country - read Borrowed Time first. Or in this case I guess, an abbreviated book as the original is a thick book to be sure. Get this on the bookshelves for kids to read, why not, they are having sex and or sexting anyway, right?

Geez, what is this, Hogwarts? A "restricted" section in the library? How ... avant-garde ...
