Google LIAAC and the Nassau County Comptroller, George Maragos, first. Then search LIAAC and the NY State Comptroller, Tom DiNapoli. Each contains 20 plus pages reports that will leave you breathless. Don't take my word for it, read the public reports yourself.
I am not surprised at all. Honesty and integrity are difficult to find. Hope she realizes that there are thousands that struggle to make ends meet and strive to be viable. Her greed, her needs far outsurpassed those she was to help! Hope she goes to jail!
She made 363K for salary and expenses, and she still had to steal from those in need. Google her on her salary, and how she lives.
And nothing will happen to her, and she'll find other employment within the community, just like all the other criminals who infect our non-profits.
If proven guilty, this woman should receive mandatory jail time, no excuses. Violation of public trust endangers funding for all ASO's (AIDS Service Organizations) everywhere.

I've lived in different cities in Washington. Three of the four case managers I've had are horrible! Insurance fraud and just plain, "I don't care and I get paid the same weather I help anyone or not." We're better off helping one another.
