Unecessary cd4 testing is a burden to HIV care in third word and impoverished countries. The state departments of health and Everyone need to get on board with fewer cd4 tests. It needs to be part of HIV education. Poz since 84 and with monitoring, I feel very safe in not getting cd4 counts, after med. consult. Insurance cos. don't like less testing however!
