I started TMC-125 and the new Merck integrase fusion inhibitor last spring. In my 24 years with HIV i have never had a strong, sustainable response to any drugs until now. After very poor health over the past two years, my t-cells are now higher than i have ever had (since first diagnosed) and, for the first time, my VL is undetectable. I am completely amazed. My reality is being altered!
As I have been in a bit of usual depression during the months from Nov. to March this bit of info made me feel a bit better. They are hot on this disease and they will find a cure.
Were there any studies(diffrences)between men and women for this new drug for EX body changes,side affects dont think there is enough emphasis on this issue
But will it Help a full blown aids with Cancer waiting to passaway
I'm currently on the Phase III Testing of this drug. I have been taking this medicine since last February 07. It has worked great without any side effects!. Being resistant to most of the drugs that are out there, TMC 125/Etravirine has boosted my T-Cells from 70 to 465 and my viral load from over 600,000 to undetectable!
