As long as meds are this difficult to get and this expensive to pay for you will not have the numbers that you desire. Most people frown on spending all thier money on drugs to sustain a very low quality of life. When you have no where to live and no regular meals you can count on, please don't expect people to spend the little money they may come across on drugs that are just making big pharma more wealthy. If the quality of life is raised, then people wil actually have something to LIVE for.

Glad to be Canadian. All 33 million of us have coverage. If we want a massage at 2pm and a room with a shag rug, we pay more. Why the richest nation on Earth can't afford universal healthcare is beyond me - stop spending all your $$ on weapons!! There is more to life than profits - but then, taking care of each other would be socialism and unAmerican, wouldn't it.
