It's not for nothing that the first P Benjamin Ryan cites is Patience. I've found that consciously focusing on developing, engaging and living patiently is a precursor to how I have avoided a great deal of hurt, calamity and overbearing introspection whilst having lived with HIV, 'tho not all of it. So, I'll continue to value it in myself and even more particularly in others.
