POZ.com published virtually the same story in March, 2011. Almost 5 years ago. Why is the medical establishment really spending this much time and resources naval gazing on what's already known? Would the Powers that Be please move on to serious research to help us move with less pain?

Sorry Mishma but you have some wrong info. PLWH on successful treatment will live a normal life SPAN; PrEP is safe and 96-98% effective. And none of that has anything to do nor contradicts anything form this article when researchers have gone a long way to prove exactly how HIV continues to impact PLWH, even when successfully treated

HIV patients will live a normal life, no wait no they won't, PrEP is safe, oh no it isn't, PrEP alone will protect you from HIV, no it won't. We've come a long way but it is apparent to me that most practitioners and researchers have a long way to go.
