Effective December 31, Frank Oldham Jr. steps down as head of the National Association of People With AIDS (NAPWA), according to a NAPWA statement. He has led NAPWA since 2006. The NAPWA board of trustees is conducting a search for a new leader. As an openly HIV-positive, gay African-American man, Oldham has held many leadership roles in the HIV/AIDS community. NAPWA will commemorate its 30th anniversary in 2013.
