I think its absolutely unacceptable that this can happen, that is the problem with computing as once you have sent the email, you cannot retrieve it.neAnything like this should be done via letter or telephone or face to face and not via the internet. The person/s that are to blame for this should immediately be sacked for imcompetence. In this day and age, the hospitals should not be using the internet to send vital information to their patients, it should be done via post, appointment or by phon
Rob Sherrard says, â??Itâ??s human error and could have happened to anyone. I hope the individual responsible will be forgiven.â? Umm... Maybe, but heads SHOULD roll -- otherwise you run the risk of sending the message that such irresponsible acts where the HIV community are concerned are no more than "victimless crimes". All of a sudden there should be no protocol!? Many letters should be written, and heads should roll...
the same thing happened to me with a research organization in the US we sued and settled the case for $75000.00

Hey there, love your magazine and the site. I am wondering why in this day and age is it still desired to have medical information private? I don't really understand that? I am celebrating 30 years last month of positivity and 26 years with aids diagnosis. and when I started coming out and talking publicly and trying to contribute to prevention, that is when I got well. when we can be who we are totally with the lights on and out loud, that is the healthy place, why don't more want that
