I started the Egrifta 2 weeks ago. I am lucky, with my insurance, I pay $75 for a 3 month supply. Mixing and administration is about a 15 minute job. No side effects. It is not as easy as popping a pill. Lots of things to do under rather clean work area conditions. But if it works, it is worth it.
Is ADAP going to pay for egrifta?
From my understanding, each vial is $32.39 (1 vial makes 2mL after reconstitution, inject once each day). So wouldn't the annual price be $11,785.85 and the 30 mo supply be around $1000?
I thought they were going to make this in a pill form when I first read about it about three years ago

Have waited for 8 days for a preapproval from Humana with Medicare D and se is help from Medicaid. Apparently from reading it is almost impossible to get preapproved even though research has indicated it increases T cells slightly and this is July of 2020.
