KS Rates Down, but Occurring at Higher CD4 Counts

T cell counts by itself have nothing to do with getting KS. I was on HAART, had 1200 T cell count but still viral load over 3000. I wasn't taking DDI on empty stomach so I wasn't suppressing the virus enough. The Herpes 8 virus that I harbored therefore proliferated. Now that my viral load is undetectable for 2 years now, and viral load of 1500, I now longer have KS. You need some t-cells and no viral to keep KS at bay. Not a doctor, just anecadotal common sense.
