September of 1987 is when I discovered my status. Back the the influroucent antibody screen was there to check the Alisa positive. Out to the CDC went my test (equivocal) and the next and the next until in January 9 when it finally confirmed the 1st poz reading. I quit smoking alcohol , and promiscuousness and took a lot of time to walk in the woods. I sought nutritionist a church basement support group and started to network a support circle. I decided not to die then. I'm still here.
