It's wonderful to read the story and the comments. Marty touched my life in a profound way getting me on therapy that maintained my health for many years. I worked with Project Inform and heard him speak at town meetings. He was an incredible man. I'll miss him and we're diminished by his absence but greatly strengthened by his presence and his incredible work over the many years.
The work that Marty did was invaluable. He was truly one of the heroes of the epidemic. It was an honor to work with him. My thanks to him and all the HIV/AIDS treatment activists who continue to advocate for effective and non-toxic treatments for HIV. Godspeed, Marty.
While I have not had the pleasure of meeting Marty, I have had the benefit of his wise counsel, hard work and dedication to bringing the most current and beneficial AIDS treatment information to those who are living with HIV/AIDS. Like Marty, I am not infected, but love and care about and for many people who are or were. Project Inform has been a primary tool used to share health information with those I care about. For this I will eternally be greatful, and keep a place in my heart for Marty.
Project Inform was one of the first web sites I discovered after my diagnosis in 1990. It was most beneficial to a then-scared young man. Bless Marty for all his work!
I wish I could have known him, seems like he would have been the person to know. Now that he sleeps the sleep of angels, I hope we can all learn from him and carry on his work.
David, What a great story about our guardian angel,Marty. How can we possibly thank one person who inspired hope when there was little? And, then informed us of our options, before the internet. And, then worked with govt. and pharma to get us to where we are today. A real hero for all, who shall be profoundly missed.
I met Martin Delaney years ago at a seminar in Orlando. He gave me great advise about my meds which proved to be true. He also encouraged me to stand up to my doctors and for myself for what I thought was right. He was an Angel for us all especially us long time survivors. You will be missed Martin God Bless you my Hero...

This is a very sad event. May we all celebrate his life by pushing on and keeping healthy, so we can continue this battle in his memory. We now have a super angel sitting on our shoulders to protect us as we fight on!
