Hi Lee, This is a great piece-- thank for writing it-- I wasn't caught up on Transparent, which I love, but will still relish that moment when I watch it because that show's team knows how to earn their moments! I'm curious to know if you're aware of or have watched any of my web series? www.unsurepositive.com We're trying to wend our way into a second season, currently pitching to distributors and production companies-- how would THAT be for mainstream? ;) -Christian

There is a long history of television being inclusive about people living with HIV. Designing Women did a story arch about this topic way back in the 1980s because, let's be real, Designing Women was a show that got real sometimes.
