I am a gay male living in the heart of gayness in Florida. I've seen first hand the increased risk taken by guys who are now on Prep. Studies are one thing.... real life is another. Participants will lie on these tests and they lie on the surveys when getting free HIV testing so they don't feel judged. This has increased risky behavior without a doubt. I assure you I see it every day. They think this is a free pass but it will be a mistake in the end.

That's because "neg on prep" is the new "gold standard" for neg in. their eyes. It's basically "last tested"+ a dash of "ub2" in a politically correct tone. Not exactly destigmatizing stuff. But then, when was the last time the HIV discussion gave a wit about people who have to live with this virus?

I've noticed quite a few guys who used to list their status on the dating and sex meetup sites as poz and changed their status to neg but on prep
