This whole article is laughable. 5 years in prision for wearing a condom and having an undetectable viral load which poses zero risk of tranmission vs. $7,500 for intentially trying to give somebody HIV. So they just pay a fine, no jail time. Laughing.

Oh, gee,only five years for a "crime" that doesn't actually result in transmission and probably holds about as much inherent risk as chewing gum? Glad to see that Iowa isn't some backwards cesspool of hillbillies and serophobobes who hide behind a cheap veneer of objectivity and liberalism. Like so much else in IA this isn't progress, it's just an attempt to not look insane.
