WOW THANK YOU
Julie, thank you for such a heart warming story. It gives me hope. I became poz 5 years ago. The most precious person in my life, Milton Kroah passed away 13 years ago and at the time, science was just on the verge of new medications. Milt was a trooper, survived 20 plus years and almost made it, but then his number was called. 10 years before that my Father Warren Thomas on the Russian River passed. My hope is that someday soon, no one will not have to lose a loved one to this awful plague.
You sweet, sweet lady. What an inspiration.
This is an impressive life experience. Julie's health project is worth emulating. I will like to donate towards 30/30 Health Project.
I, too, am a 30 year survivor! It has been a long and tireing road but I am there!
I just want to say that this article makes me proud to know that there are people living with HIV for 30 plus years of more. and doing great things. As I have been living with HIV as of 2014 for 32 years. I was feature here in POZ back in Nov of 2011. I am still going strong too. POZ should do a cover story on all of our lives to show the world that there is hope and life after HIV.
Very encouraging to hear such news, it gives me the will to keep going on, HIV is not and will never be a death sentence, here in kenya we also have our own Asunta Wagura, a woman who has lived with HIV for the last 27 years and she's still riding high. Lets keeps our spirits high. Thank u.
