I was also born positive. I'm now 35. I applaud those of you that are so open about it. My parents passed when I was 5 years old and I was raised by my grandparents. My status was a military secret, even to some family. It was hard to grow up like that. I haven't had the easiest time with medication and other health issues from the HIV, but I am miraculously still here and I try to make the most of it.
