I met him once, briefly. He is one of the reasons I am alive, he began the fight so many of us engaged in to beat the evil attacking us. I was deeply involved politically, professionally and socially in our fight. He was one of the inspirations to do so. I disagreed with some of his tactics but openly admit they worked. We beat AIDS because this man stepped forward to begin the fight. Yes, I did say "beat". We have. Thank you Larry.
