Mom I am so proud of you. Although I didn’t know a majority of those things growing up in foster care, it did not matter cause I always loved you unconditionally. Despite the trials you have been a motivation, and your faith in God has been a blessing. Because now you have a generation after you that are RESILIENT, successful, healthy and sober. We love you and are proud of you mom.

COVID has done a number on my social life and now spinal stenosis impedes my social life. I can relate to all of them. Postponing getting tested for years, putting up with AIDS-related illnesses but not wanting to get tested. Finally moving to W.Hollywood, I was tested and found out that my TCell count was 75 and my viral load was off the charts at 175,000. Neuropathy developed and now I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis. I kept my walker knowing that I'll need it again. I'm 68 yrs old.

Good informative article, but I'd like to hear about folks who have mobility issues with HIV and Parkinson's, others may want to know about HIV and MS. Perhaps an idea for an article?
