I'm writing about longterm survival, both my own (25 plus years) and others. Contact me (Casey) if you have stories about stigmatization, medical issues, or relationship related stories--cedillasix@gmail.com. Go Kick Ass!
Great to hear about Let's Kick Ass. I'm writing a memoir called Undetectable about longterm survival with HIV (me 25 years and counting). Would love to hear from you about your experiences.
I WAS READING ABOUT THE LONG TERM SURVIVOR STORIES, I AM ALSO A LONG TERM SURVIVOR. I WAS DIAGNOSED IN 1997 WHILE PREGNANT. I DID TAKE MEDS DURING MY PREGNANCY, MY SON WAS BORN HIV-. I HAVE NOT HAD TO TAKE MEDS FOR 20 YEARS,MY VIRAL LOAD IS UNDECTECTABLE AND MY T-CELL COUNT IS GOOD. I SERVE AN AWESOME GOD.
it has been a long fight we have not given up still hopeing there will be a cure for us all. I was dignosed in march of 96, and was taken off meds in 2002 until 2007 stayed undetectable for seven years sloly it crept back had to go back on meds it was a good break from the meds, Still doing good meds holding it at bay, still praying every night to hear those words ( that a cure is finly here).
