I was a first time attendee and was amazed at all the people there. The friendships and fellowship was almost overwhelming. It was freeing and relaxing to be with people who we could be open and honest without fearing repercussions. I really enjoyed the workshops and the presenters. I want to thank Butch McKay again for the wonderful opportunity to attend a fun and open meeting of PLHIV. I tell people It's like being on a deserted island and no one knows how it feels except another HIV person.
Awesome article on an Awesome Conference!! I have been to many conferences but never to one that was specifically for positive individuals. The location was great but the folks I met there were fantastic. Everyone was so loving and Butch was amazing. The topics were great and so were the speakers. It was the best conference ever and I am already counting the days so I can return again and I still have not stopped talking about it and want more Latino and Youth present next year. Thank you
Thank you Olivia for your powerful comments on Positive Living. I always enjoy hearing other people's impressions of the conference. Trust me in that we listen to what people are saying, and suggestions they make for improvement. Positive Living belongs to the community and we at OASIS believe that when the ownership belongs to them the conference will only benefit and get better. I want to thank our sponsors, attendees, SERO Project, Southern AIDS Coalition and PWN for their participation.
