I don't know how very accurate this article is. I tested positive in September 1987. It really wasn't until the early 90's that I even remotely started medication. My CD4 count has only been over 200 maybe 6 times through the years. I have also fought TB along with general sickness that everyone catches. I agree that the medication in these later years makes the biggest difference. I also believe genetics plays a big part.
