I am all for equality. I've suffered more than my share, But isn't the new term 'Equity? "Equality being that each individual or group of people is given the same resources or opportunities whereas Equity recognizes that each person has different circumstances and allocates the exact resources and opportunities from those who have to those who don't have; thus providing the needed equal outcome."
