Hello Rachel, after reading your story it brings a shed of hope to my outcome of my recent exposure. I am waiting on test results and am very nervous. But, reading your story brings hope that even if I am positive I will stay strong and educate others. I would love to talk to you more about your story. Sincerely, Kristopher
I was diagnosed in 1996, and went through the exact same emotions. It amazes me how humans can be so very different, yet still just the same. You are far braver than I, however, and I am in awe of your courage. Thank you for sharing your story.

Thanks for your story. My reaction when I was diagnosed in 2014 was much the same. I didn't think I'd heard the doctor correctly. I'm 70 years old and certainly don't fit the profile. But after testing positive on all 3 tests, I finally had to face the fact that the doctor was right. After 6 months on Stribild, my viral load is zero and I am strong and healthy and finally ready to campaign for more testing - who do doctors not test seniors when they can't figure out what's wrong?
