Congrats for taking something negative and making a positive difference. I too am a long term survivor. I am a hemophiliac who was infected in 1985 when I was 8 years old with bad blood. My sucess with the hiv meds has been more rocky road as my strain of hiv is able to mutate quickly. Each time a new drug would come out I would get better, until slowly they would become less effective. I have now have meds that have been working for the past 8 years and I will be turning 39 this year.
