As a 60 yr old H.I.V gbm, I see the same use of the bible as they did against blacks in the 60's,they are trying to defund planned parenthood only to hurt poor women,rich women has access to the best,and won't be having 6 or 7 kids,they will try to defund h.i.v. progams next since they think we don't deserve civil rights and use the bible to do it,young gay people register and vote in 2016,our lives may depend on it,they have used the bible all my life to divide and discriminate.
I'm sorry, is this a magazine for people with HIV or for privileged (negative) gay men with delusions of persecution? It's so hard to tell sometimes. Most of this article was about non HIV issues and the remainder was largely about prevention, which doesn't actually benefit people that are living with the virus. If we're going to talk about "victory blindness" in POZ, maybe we should start with the dismissive approach "HIV activism" has taken to the topic of HAVING HIV.
