Do not take Soy sauce!period!!It has GMO's all through it, unless organic.
oy vey! is soy sauce the latest sea cucumber, or st john's wort? there are many, nowadays, excellent treatments for HIV disease, as well as extraordinary progress being made on the PrEP front...so why do stories like soy sauce keep popping up? as opposed to the real scientific progress made...human condition, i suppose.
I totally agree with sunjay!!!
Good article, better than your usual in fact, in that you expose the sort of incomplete reporting that your site is often (IMO) guilty of. (And surely you mean the virus becomes sensitive to the drug, rather than the other way around, as stated.)
I eat Chinese food quite often. So in addition to being delicious it could be having some sort of curative effect? Bonus!
Why do you people always interject when someone shows some promising research into cures.People want a cure for HIV or a better treatment.
Thank you very much for your article. The MU press office promptly changed the title at my request, so I hope that clears the misunderstanding. The idea that someone may "be downing bottles of the brine" as a means to fight HIV is scary. I apologize for not catching this earlier and hope that it will not detract from the scientific data that show EFdA to have an excellent potency in cell based and animal experiments.

I don't understand the problem that BR has with this information. Iits way too early on in development in the first place to be looking for "that big story" Yes, some details are technically inaccurately but the overall finding that molecules in the 4-Ethynyl-2-fluoro-2-deoxyadenosine Triphosphate class and related derivatives potently inhibit HIV (and resistant HIV) is the headline here. Adjust your attitude and educate, not denigrate; you get better results.
