We are glad to hear you are safe and well.
Thanks for sharing this Steve! I canâ??t imagine the experience; your telling was poignant, and I particularly liked the simple message of perseverance and hope, combined with the meaning behind the marathon for you, that you ended with. It was all very moving and wonderful. xo Nicholas
It must have been a traumatic experience for those who had no idea of what was happening. Those of us who were watching on TV while being utterly horrified had at least a better idea of the situation. The whole thing was soul destroying.Thank you for giving us a better idea of the agony endured by the runners who were completely in the dark and especially those who had friends waiting at the finish line. I cannot imagine what it was like for them.
Hello Stephen, first let me say I am so very happy you are safe, and healthy and strong. Your story was very heartfelt and inspiring. I just know you, and many others, will be back next year. to do what you have done since 1997, cause after all, you are Boston Strong! God bless you!

Thank you for sharing this harrowing story. I'm glad you and Rick are uninjured. It's good to hear how people helped and comforted one another. Everyone's thoughts and prayers are with Boston as you recover from this horrible tragedy. It's more than I can bear to think of the people who suffered such awful injuries. On a more upbeat note, I indeed hope you will be ready to run in the Boston Marathon next year! Congratulations for all your excellent example is doing for people living with AIDS.
