If you have high risk sex with other men frequently you either have esteem issues or you are sexually addicted. If you are addicted, then it matters not if the other person is HIV+. Just like heroin addiction a dirty needle is just a tool for the next high. So all these reasons in the article are related they all need psychiatric or at a minimum sexual counseling to sort out the emotional basis for these self destructive actions. You also need a good support system...a job, friends, family.
