much like you i thought i was safe from HIV/AIDS...i was married, faithful to my husband of 23 years, and not a user of any drugs ...i had only general knowledge of HIV/AIDS and was truly ignorant of the virus...i neglected to think about the fact that i was born with "von willibrands disease" a form of hemophilia...i managed to get pregnant in 1982...to give birth i required 9 units of cryoprecipitate, from which i became infected with the HIV/AIDS virus...
