Dale, UNDETECTABLE = SEXUALLY NON-INFECTIOUS Compliance = Undetectable Unless you are dealing with a highly treatment experienced patient, a compliant person will be undetectable. Drug resistant strains are less fit for forward transmission and if a person quits taking their meds, the more fit wild type virus quickly out breeds the resistant strains. Super infection just isn't happening in any kind of numbers at all. It is not worth losing a second of sleep over.
Although I'm undetectable, I just say I'm "Positive" in all of my profiles.
Why is there a virus-person mix-up? The guys don't become undetectable, their virus is.
The average gay man is university educated, yet we remain willfully ignorant when it comes to HIV. Having an undetectable viral load is to one's health benefit. Being undetectable is never meant to be taken as carte blanche to engage in unprotected sex. What men must remember is the risk of re-infection with a strain different from, possibly more drug resistant, than the one that one originally has. If reinfection occurs, and the drugs stop working, undetectable viral load is irrelevant.

I hardly find the definition of undetectable as a means of saying one is healthy or being non-poz as they are living with a world of smoke. Being 33yrs poz, with zero tcells and host of medical issues, I consider a milestone as waking up each day regardless how healthy I may think, as taking 50 meds a total within a 24hr period, is what one can expect at some point in the lives of surviving HIV then AIDS,,
