All individuals with United Healthcare who receive HIV meds: You can opt out by calling 1-866-803-8570 and have them to deliver to an in network pharmacy. The last 6 months has been a nightmare. I have full employer paid medical insurance and have a wide latitude in how I utilize my time. I have had to spend the equivalent of 3 days worth of working hours during the week AND on weekends working through delivery hurdles and system malfunctions via United Healthcare, Optum, and Briova.

I feel I'm being targeted by optum rx and United health care today. I need a resource. They are denying my hiv meds and have even told my doctor there are lower cost alternatives. I'm at a loss. My doctor is trying to get to the bottom of the matter. Also it's 11/2015 and they are forcing me into mail order.
