I am not surprised at all becuase it always comes down to the bottom line - healthcare in this country is all about profits for politicians(and their corporate lobbyists) pharmaceutical companies and insurance companies - that's it period. Patient care is an after thought so imagine HIV poz patients are near the bottom of the list for concern. Anyone poz knows how expensive this disease is to maintain yourself healthy and, of course, these states do not need any "other" added expenses.

There are so few services in the rural area and TX is huge!! This is terrible for those who need these services.

Now 2 southern states are droping the political power on HIV folks. This whole process of cutting medical care for HIV folks cause me to think that Florida and Texa do not care about the Children of thier state. Yes, someones mother or father, and again because they are poor and uneducated to fight for truth and life,Shame on Texa. The battle now is on many fronts. This is the most sicken change of policy and champaign stratgy to turn back 2 decades of healthcare for HIV positive people.Shame
