I am from Tanzania but in Toronto! Yes its totaly true that Africa face the shotage of professionals in HIV/Aids (Nurse's/Doctor's). Yet at the same time North America and Europe grant billion's of Tax payer's dollar's to this countries and it end's up with the corrupt President and its minister's. Come on world wake up now!!!

It is sad that such a scenario does exist! Government policies on employment are the sometimes to blame. There are quite a large number of allied health professionals in areas such as public health, food safety, nutrition and dietetics, nursing, etc who are just redundant. Reason - some governments have slapped bans on employment. In other cases, there is no attempt to attract and retain them. They thus migrate for greener pastures! Need to act NOW!
