First I must ask have you been in the military? Secondly, homosexuality has been around for a long time, but did you ever ask your grandfather how he would have felt about serving along side some one who was gay? Remember just because a behavior is present in society doesn't make it right. If that were the case then stealing and murder would be acceptable as well, after all they have been around for as long as homosexuality. Finally, you say that we must stand up to discrimination. It is not discrimination when the people of America want to preserve the family. I call right. In the end that is what this is all about isn't it? What is right and what is wrong. How do you determine what is right and what is wrong? Do you base it on what the individual wants or someone with greater authority?
