Never give up!! You are truly an inspiration and motivator . I salute you and edge you never to give up or give in to those who want to destroy your archievements in giving people of NYC living with HIV/AIDS the greatest help they deserve. You remain their voice and the authorities want to silence you through budget cuts. I volunteer as a refugee mentor in London - signposting and working with refugees and asylum seekers living with HIV have better access to housing, healthcare and other benefits denied for them under the restrictive immigration laws. It has been a challenge and slowly we are experiencing some softening of negative attitudes and experiencing major breakthroughs through awareness campaigns. Your quest for social justice inspires me and gives me added strength to do more on my volunteering. Thanks for sharing and have enjoyed your poet. Keep up the good work and remember you are not alone in this fight. Across the Atlantic the battle is on to dispel the discriminatory attitudes, stigmas and denials towards people living with HIV/AIDS. God Bless and stay blessed.

Lora, again I find your words inspirational. Having worked in housing for people affected by the virus and various mental mental health issues myself, I never really realized what an important job I had. It was only when the virus hit me head on did I realize the impact I could have made had I not burned out due to administrative challenges and then the self-pity I faced after learning of my diagnosis. I hope to get back to work and not let either beat me down!
