Hi, I heard you at ICRT yesterday. I was told that in China, there are even the whole people in a village have AIDS. Maybe you could also work on that. And good to know that you had enjoyed your stay in Taiwan, the mangos are really good, I like it a lot too. The agriculture here is one of the best in the world. Sorry about the hot weather, it will lasts a while. God bless you!

Regan, I cracked up so much about the crying comment it was comical. I don’t know if that was meant to be funny or not (then again reading is what the reader interprets). I can vividly picture you trying to hold the waterworks, and saying to yourself, “Don’t cry Regan or you will freak these people out!” I am so excited to have read the blog! It’s absolutely fantastic that you are getting the word across over seas. I was pretty intrigued by many of the facts stated. Mostly the one on healthcare being 100% covered. I need to move to Asia quick!!! I bet you anything you will astonish people in Khaosiung with your story, and the facts of HIV. It’s unbelievable how that society has been unaware to the dangers of HIV. I can put myself in their shoes and understand their point of view and the reasons why they would want to be oblivious to HIV. It’s one of those things that if you don’t think it, say it, or see it they will pretend its not there. I think that somewhat it’s such a “latino” thing to do. I know that my extended family (as in those who still eat rice and beans everyday) have similar feelings towards HIV as the ones of the Asian society. I know my grandmother would probably freak out if I told her I was positive. She would be like, “Nino you are 19! te vas a morir!” Then again I don’t want to give the woman a second heart attack or get into a discussion with her. I am so excited for you! As for the shopping thing… Are you nuts? Girl get yourself into that place and rip it to shreds. Shop all you can!!! Buy yourself all you can. A little dent in the checkbook will not hurt you. Aside its not every day you are in Taiwan so do not waste time. Well I don’t want to babble on and take your time. I know you probably have hundreds of comments/emails to read. I HOPE ONLY BUT THE BEST OF LUCK in Asia and Australia. I am more than positive (aww how cute +) you will do the perfect job in educating, forewarning, and getting the word of awareness out into the community over there. “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." - Margaret Mead
