I was on medi-cal until it was deemed that I was making too much $$$. working 2 part time jobs. The search for "affordable" insurance. the reality is that I am paying higher deductibles to get the coverage needed. Ex. $70 co-pay to see my MD. As of this date I am 2 months behind on seeing him. The point is that I work and I am not able to make to co-pays for my MD visits. I am grateful to be healthy and working. however.
