The active duty military personnel are a major issue. Being an HIV-positive veteran, family members, partners and the like is even larger from a medical, mental, supportive services and benefits standpoint. For example there is no such HIV housing program for HIV-positive veterans, there is not a universal HIV peer navigator-HIV peer patient program within the VA medical centers. There are two known programs that are not government programs: A Positive Tomorrow for active duty military and Poz VETS USA INTL for Veterans.
