My partner, Gwenn, and I have been together for two decades. During the entirety of our relationship I’ve been HIV positive, and she’s been HIV negative. Last year for National HIV Testing Day, we thought it would be a good idea to show just how easy the at-home HIV testing kits are.

Personally, with my viral load being undetectable, we knew the result of her test would be negative. But for a lot of folks who don’t know the status of their partner, that isn’t the case. So if you’ve been thinking about getting tested, or have a friend who has, it’s best to alleviate those concerns and get tested.

And remember, the only unacceptable HIV status is a question mark.

Positively Yours,

Shawn
