gays should never get married i remember when they said we will never ask to get married we just want people to stob gay bashing us. we should go back to the 60s and 70s and start bashing them again they dont diserve more rights then we have. they act like because they are gay they are special. i dont think so
Just ten years ago, it was difficult to admit I had gay friends to some. Ten years later, (and having chosen better company), it's impossible to imagine not having LGBT friends and indeed family as well. My cynicism ended a few years ago. I just keep in mind how recently most snickered when anyone suggested we could soon have a black president. As for gay marriage- I think it encourages commitment, ceremony, and fidelity across all genders.

Corinne: I suggest that you read all of the posts tagged "marriage" in this blog to get a better background on the issue. Advocating bashing of anyone, even if (I hope) you don't mean it seriously, is offensive, to say the least. I strongly suggest that you refrain from such language on this blog. I agree with you 100 percent on one thing. LGBTs don't deserve more rights than anyone else, but LGBTs do deserve the same rights that everyone else is entitled to under the U.S. Constitution. Thanks, Oriol
