Nice comments on the McCain fumble. However, this comment "a place [Gambia] that itself sounds like an unpleasant sexually transmitted disease" is really tacky and not very nice, and takes away from the rest of your lovely writing.
Did you asked if Senator McCain helped people with Aids? I was diagnosed and put into the hospital and lost my job. Mr. McCain is the one who helped me past all the red tape of securing disability and my meds which costs thousands of dollars. Thank You

It sounds like McCain needs to go back to middle school health class... but as I wrote at RH Reality Check, even a refresher sex ed course wouldn't help him, since abstinence-only programs don't teach the facts about contraception & HIV.
