Thanks for the info. I wish to live a normal life and not worry day to day about when the HIV bomb is going to attack me. I started meds when my CD4 was 550 and I have not looked back. My system immediately reacted and within 1 month, my viral load was undetectable and my CD4 was higher than when I was infected. Bottom line, I have been healthier since starting than before I was infected. I am happy and healthy, thus able to live a more productive life. This decision does not affect my ability play safe. Any behaviour is risky and I don't play into the tendency to act differently just because I am undetectable. Great topic!

Thanks, Paul! Went to the emergency room due to unbearable ear pain and a sore throat. Was diagnosed with oral thrust and inner/outer ear infection. Was treated and am feeling much better. This begs the question do I start ART. I have been positive for almost three years. My last count was in the low 300s. This is great evidenced-based info and it looks like it may be time. Thanks again, buddy! Jay
