Could it be that this young man is growing up? I know it's unheard of in our Peter Pan world, but that could be a possibility. Or could be that he's reached the point where one realizes the futility of wanting to "fit in". "Fit in" to what? Who knows. Hence the empty feeling. It's unfortunate, but that's the case in the gay community...lots of empty "gayness" going around...still. So glad to have given it up. Bars and clubs are not the answer to our desire to be loved.
