Jesse Helms was the most vitriolic, mean-spirited, and anger-driven politician of the 20th century. That he was re-elected 5 times as the Senator from NC with no education or tranferable experience is a shaming fact for all of us who hale from that otherwise great state. I rest easier knowing that God has reserved a special place in Hell for the late Senator.
If your from Fort Lauderdale Fl you can appreicate this statement. When Rev Kennedy died the biggot Preacher here in Fort Lauderdale who bashed Gays every Sunday. A friend of mine said he is in a much better place. Same goes for this wacko. Amen GOODBYE..
What could be said of a Bigoted, Ignorant Racist when they drop dead except.....GOOD RIDDANCE TO BAD RUBBISH!!! That he croaked on the 4th of July is just another reason to celebrate the holiday.

Said he could have done more re:AIDS - probably meant he'd like to gather up gays and put them in a camp and quarentine Africa until everyone died out. No tears shed here.
