I am always amazed how people can be against major parts of the health care bill, especially those dealing with pre existing conditions. If each part of the bill were put before the voters in a referendum, I would bet that a majority of the bill would pass 70-30. Regan I am glad that Americans like you can now live a life without fear of losing your insurance. Keep up your great work.

This was a monumental achievement. I, being a male who has fought this battle for many years and who lost his sister to this illness, I wept when the bill passed. I wept not just for myself, but for all the Americans living with financially and devistating, illnesses. This bill has some flaws, to be sure. However,it is definately a humongous step in the right direction. I have lived in secret with this illness encountering many of the same issues of which Regan so elliquently addressed. I want to help others who are suffering. Soon I shall be going to medical school to do just that. I wonder how I will keep my status hidden during that time. I have made it this far, I will cross that road when I get there. God bless you all!
