I am going to STRONGLY disagree with you about your infectious disease PCP being "excellent" in spite of his horrible bedside manner. You cannot be a good clinican and an asshole at the same time. The two simply do not mix no matter how good your other providers are.

My PCP is the worst, not bedside major at all. It's ALL about numbers, numbers, numbers. But he's an excellent infection disease HIV/AIDS doctor. Unfortunately, or fortunately I have a slew of specialists to treat all my other ailments, and feel more like a human. As they say in fashion - it's all about the mix!
