Black heterosexual woman, diagnosed HIV+35 years. Been on local television talk shows & newspaper etc. Not afraid to disclose, a few years ago someone told lies on me. The community ran with it and totally destroyed my reputation. When I thought about it, I felt like the only reason it was so easy to believe lies about me was because I'm living with HIV. My pain was so bad it was all I thought of, while taking care of my 88 year old Mom whom passed. If I wasn't a Christian, but God.
